We'll work on acting through scripts and improvisation. Students will practice playwriting scenes and monologues to perform and we will look at how a director works with actors. It's an acting class.......but so much more! 
Expected activities will include:
	
working on contemporary theatrical monologues
	
rehearsing and presenting scenes between two or more actors from contemporary and classic plays
	
learning the fundamentals of playwriting as we write monologues and scenes for each other to perform
	
developing work together through ensemble creative process
	
developing an understanding of the director's role in working with actors and rehearsing plays.
 
Time: Mondays, 5:00pm-5:55pm
