Virtual Audition Instructions

Complete a video audition that includes:

  1. Slate introducing yourself & stating the role you are interested in

  2. 30-45 second A Cappella song ~ preferably musical theatre (not from Charlie Brown or The Addams Family)

  3. 30 second monologue of your choosing

  4. Tech Applicant Video Note: Please slate and describe your level of technical skill and why you are interested in this production. (No song or monologue needed)


Use (this is a free large file email service - no account required) to email your audition video and audition form to by 5pm EST on Saturday, July 24, 2021.  (Please do not submit prior to July 18th.)  Please label as Subject: Addams Audition for [Your Name].

*If for some reason, you can not use WeTransfer, you may use regular email but be aware large video files sometimes do not fully upload.

Note: Failure to follow the directions above may result in us not receiving your tape! Please follow directions carefully.



  • Dress professionally

  • Record in quiet surroundings

  • Hold your phone horizontally


  • Each Mainstage / Addams Family cast member will be required to purchase a Participant Pack at a cost of  $130 which includes:

    • show shirt

    • 1/8 "Currents" playbill ad

    • printed, hole punched script

    • Masters of Broadway Worskhop (9/25) taught by Broadway's original Uncle Fester, Kevin Chamberlin

       $130 also covers administrative fees.  A limited number of scholarships are available and eligibility will be

       determined based upon financial need.  (Learn more: Participant Packs can               be paid in two installments for your convenience. ​ More details will be come available once the cast list is

  • WARNING: The Addams Family: A New Musical is rated PG-13 for smoking, mild sexuality, fright, and the use of profanity
