KIDS WORKSHOP (Grades K-2)

Fall 2026 - A Year with Frog & Toad

Spring 2027 - TBA

Our Saltwater KIDS workshops are a fun, supportive introduction to the world of theatre! Offered twice each year—in the spring and fall— each workshop runs approximately three months and gives young performers the opportunity to learn theatre basics while working together to put on a real show.

Workshops begin with weekly rehearsals, with additional rehearsal days added as performance time approaches. Along the way, students build confidence, learn about acting, singing, movement, stage directions, teamwork, and what it means to be part of a cast.

And every child gets a part! Each workshop culminates in live performances of a KIDS production, typically 30–45 minutes in length and designed especially for young performers.

It’s more than learning how to perform—it’s a chance to build confidence, make friends, work as a team, and experience the excitement of taking a story from the rehearsal room to the stage.

JUNIOR WORKSHOP (Grades 3-5)

Fall 2026 - Annie, JR.

Spring 2027 - TBA

Saltwater JR workshops give elementary-age performers the chance to take their theatre skills to the next level—or discover the stage for the very first time!

Perfect for both experienced performers and beginners, our JR program creates a supportive environment where every student can learn, grow, and shine.

Offered twice each year—in the spring and fall— each workshop runs approximately four months. Rehearsals begin once a week for the full cast, with additional rehearsal days for those "called" which means their character is in particular scene. Students develop skills in acting, singing, movement, stage presence, character development, teamwork, and the rehearsal process while working together to bring a full production to life.

Every child gets a part! Each workshop culminates in live performances of a JR production, typically about one hour in length.

Whether they already love the spotlight or are just discovering the stage, Saltwater JR gives young performers a place to build confidence, make friends, strengthen their skills, and experience the excitement of being part of a cast.
