SUMMER CAMP
Under the Big Top is a free, high-energy performing arts camp where students step into the magic of the circus through movement, music, theater, and creative play. Campers will explore age-appropriate performance skills while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment.
Students will be grouped by age and guided through engaging activities inspired by the excitement of the big top, including imaginative storytelling, character work, basic choreography, and ensemble performance. The week will culminate in a playful showcase celebrating each group’s creativity and growth.
No prior experience required - just bring imagination and a sense of adventure!

The College Audition Edge
This intensive camp prepares high school students for the college audition process across all performing arts disciplines. Students will explore different types of performing arts programs, including conservatories, universities, and public and private colleges, and learn what each looks for in an applicant.
Participants will gain practical guidance on college applications, résumés, repertoire lists, portfolios, reels, and self-tapes, as well as audition etiquette, professional behavior, and attire. The camp also covers academic expectations, time management, standardized testing, scholarships, financial aid, and what to expect in a college performing arts program and beyond.
The week concludes with a mock college audition concert. Parents are invited to attend the final session, ask questions, and gain insight into the pathway toward performing arts in college and as a career

Script to Spotlight is a creative writing and performance camp where students bring their original stories to life. Campers will learn the fundamentals of playwriting, including character development, dialogue, story structure, and collaboration. Students will work individually and in groups to write short scenes or plays, then rehearse and perform their own work.
Throughout the week, participants will explore how writing and performance connect, gaining confidence in both storytelling and stage presence. The camp encourages imagination, teamwork, and creative expression in a supportive, age-appropriate environment. The experience culminates in an informal sharing or performance of student-created scenes.
No prior writing or acting experience required - just a love for stories and creativity.

Broadway Boot Camp - Become a Triple Threat!
Train like a triple threat at our high-energy Broadway Bootcamp! Middle and high school performers will get a sneak peek at next season’s lineup while learning musical numbers straight from the shows. Campers will strengthen their vocals, sharpen choreography, and deepen acting skills in a fun, focused, and supportive environment.
Perfect for both new and experienced performers, this week is all about building confidence, making friends, and growing as an ensemble — all leading to an exciting showcase performance at the end of the week.
Broadway Kidz is the perfect introduction to the magic of musical theatre! Designed especially for elementary-aged performers, this high-energy half-day camp helps young stars build confidence while learning fun songs, simple choreography, and creative acting games inspired by Broadway favorites.
Campers will make new friends, explore their imagination, and shine on stage — all in a supportive, age-appropriate environment that celebrates creativity and fun. The week wraps up with an adorable showcase performance for family and friends!

Improv for Teens (Middle & High School):
Get ready for two laughter-filled days of creativity, confidence, and connection! In this hands-on improv workshop, students will learn the core principles of improvisation—listening, collaboration, and thinking on their feet—through a series of engaging games and fun performance exercises. No experience needed—just bring your imagination!

Beginning March 2 | Improv for Adults: Unleash your playful side and rediscover the joy of spontaneous creativity! In this six-week workshop, adults will explore the fundamentals of improv in a supportive, laughter-filled environment. Whether you’re looking to improve communication skills, build confidence, or simply try something new, this class is the perfect place to start. Beginners welcome—no stage experience necessary!
Beginning March 3 | Improv Intensive for Teens: Join us for 6-weeks of laughter and learning! Our spring workshop gives middle and high school students the chance to dive deeper into the art of improvisation. Through dynamic games, character work, and scene-building exercises, students will grow their confidence, sharpen their creativity, and make new friends. Who knew learning could be this much fun?
About Your Instructor: Cole Parker, is a talented theatre artist and proud program alumnus who has built a thriving professional career in performance and direction. A graduate of LaGrange College in Georgia, he holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts Performance. Since then, he’s worked with Zeno Entertainment, directing and performing in immersive, improvisation-driven productions for audiences ranging from small private groups to thousands of guests. Now back in the area for a short time, he’s excited to share his passion for improv, storytelling, and audience connection with a new generation of performers at Saltwater.
SPRING WORKSHOPS

Our Junior Program introduces young performers to the excitement of theatre in a fun, supportive environment. Through acting, singing, and movement, students build confidence, teamwork, and creativity while learning the fundamentals of stage performance while producing a 1-hour show. Designed especially for grades 3–5, this program helps students develop strong performance skills, communication, and self-expression—all while making friends and discovering the joy of storytelling through the arts.
Workshop begins: January 12 (parent meeting) Cost: $300 for 17 weeks + $25 registration
JR Workshop: Mondays 4:30-6:30pm, Wednesdays 5:00-7:00pm, and two Saturdays prior to show
Performances: Friday May 15, Saturday May 16 (matinee & evening) and Sunday May 17 (matinee)

Our Kids Program introduces the magic of theatre to our youngest grade K-2 performers! Through playful exploration of music, movement, and storytelling, children build confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a fun, nurturing environment. Each class focuses on the basics of stage performance—listening, expression, and imagination—helping every child discover their inner star. The workshop culminates in a 30–45-minute live production.

Workshop begins: March 3 Cost: $225 + $25 registration
3 Performances: May 29-31, 2026
KIDS Workshop: Tuesdays 4:15-6:00pm, with the addition of Thursdays throughout April and May, and a few Saturday morning rehearsals in May
