Junior programs are run as a workshop during which time auditions are held, and all attendees earn a role. Our next planned workshop will be Dear Edwina, Jr. which begins fall 2020.  Registration begins July 13.  Please go to Upcoming Events to register. 




Video auditions for our fall production of Little Shop of Horrors will be due June 27th, 2020 at 5pm EST.  See "How to Audition" below.  We will now be using Cast98 to help streamline our registration, audition, and scheduling process.  Please create an account at  Select Saltwater Performing Arts as a "favorite" and you will see show and audition details. 




All ages

Prepare ye for the timeless tale of friendship, loyalty and love based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew. Encore is excited to bring Godspell to you this fall.  Show dates are November 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, & 15.  Auditions are open to adults and students aged 16 and up and will be conducted virtually.  Please visit, create an account, select Saltwater Performing Arts as a "favorite" to view further instructions.  Auditions may be submitted beginning Monday, August 17. All auditions are DUE by 5:00 pm (EST) on Saturday, August 21.  

Godspell is being performed in place of The Sound of Music 

How To Audition

Please refer to any specific audition instructions above.  In general, you should have the following prepared for an audition:
  •  Completed Audition Form & signed Medical Release (above)
  •  30-45 Second A Cappella Song, preferably Musical Theatre 
  •  30 Second Monologue that shows aspects of your desired character  
  •  Be prepared to cold read from the script (provided at the audition)
  •  Dress professionally (no jeans or t-shirts)
  •  Bring a change of clothes/shoes for dancing
  •  If you have head shots &/or performing arts resume, bring them 
  • Note: Please do not choose material from the show you are auditioning for
You should also be prepared to "slate" or introduce yourself.  Example:
"Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening, I'm (State your full name), I will be singing _________, my monologue is from (or called) ___________. [Perform your song and monologue. ] Thank you very much for your time, have a great day"
