Elementary

Junior programs are run as a workshop during which time auditions are held, and all attendees earn a role. Our next planned workshop will be Disney's Frozen, Jr. which begins August 2021.  Registration opens in June.

Mainstage

Middle/High
Video auditions for our fall production of The Addams Family will be accepted this summer.  Stay tuned for details.  See "How to Audition" below and/or consider attending our aBroadway Boot Camp to get a leg up on the compeition.

All ages

Encore if excited to bring the hilariously interactive, Clue:The Musical, to the stage this summer.  Show dates are July 22, 23, 24, 25, 2021.  Auditions are open to adults and students aged 16 and up and will be conducted virtually.   All auditions are DUE by 5:00 pm (EST) on Saturday, May 15th.  Click HERE for details.  Email Encore@saltwaterpac.org for additional information.  (Director: Megan Friese-Kaufman) 

What Does An Audition Consist of?

Please refer to any specific audition instructions above.  In general, you should have the following prepared for an audition:
  •  Completed Audition Form & signed Medical Release (above)
  •  30-45 Second A Cappella Song, preferably Musical Theatre 
  •  30 Second Monologue that shows aspects of your desired character  
  •  Be prepared to cold read from the script (provided at the audition)
  •  Dress professionally (no jeans or t-shirts)
  •  Bring a change of clothes/shoes for dancing
  •  If you have head shots &/or performing arts resume, bring them 
  • Note: Please do not choose material from the show you are auditioning for
 
You should also be prepared to "slate" or introduce yourself.  Example:
"Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening, I'm (State your full name), I will be singing _________, my monologue is from (or called) ___________. [Perform your song and monologue. ] Thank you very much for your time, have a great day"
