Junior programs are run as a workshop during which time auditions are held, and all attendees earn a role. Our next planned workshop will be Disney Frozen, Jr. which begins August 4, 2021. Registration opens June 15. This is a tuition based program.
Our Mainstage troupe will be presenting The Addams Family - the very same ghoulish American family of the comics, movies and TV series - whom have an affinity for all things macabre. If you are a middle or high school student who is "creepy ...kooky, mysterious and spooky" prepare a 30-second monologue and 45-second A Cappella song (preferably musical theatre not from Addams Family). Auditions will be held virtually with live call backs and live shows! Auditions are due by 5pm, July 24. Check back for details! Performances October 8-17 at The Warehouse in Kingsland. Our Encore troupe will be presenting Irving Berlin's White Christmas based on the beloved film and featuring a dazzling score which includes well known standards including Blue Skies, I Love A Piano, How Deep Is the Ocean and the perennial favorite, White Christmas.
Auditions will be held in person on Saturday, September 25th from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at The Warehouse located 210 E. William Street, Kingsland, GA. Five performances: December 16-19, 2021. Singers and dancers of all experience levels are welcome. Bring a completed application (above right), a resume (as applicable) and prepare a 45-60 second A Cappella song (preferably musical theatre) and a 30-45 second monologue that shows aspects of your desired character. Be prepaed to learn a short dance routine. Read the Audition Detail and Character Breakdowns below for further information. What Does An Audition Consist of?
Please refer to any specific audition instructions above. In general, have the following prepared for an audition:
Completed Audition Form & signed Medical Release (above)
45-60 Second A Cappella Song, preferably Musical Theatre
30-45 Second Monologue that shows aspects of your desired character
Be prepared to cold read from the script (provided at the audition)
Dress professionally (no jeans or t-shirts)
Bring a change of clothes/shoes for dancing
If you have head shots &/or performing arts resume, bring them
